Honorably discharged from the US Navy in August, 2005 after 8 years of service. I served from 1997–2003 as a meteorological technician, then from 2003–2005 served as battalion photojournalist with Navy Combat Engineers. I am a January, 2012 graduate of the Temple University School of Communication and Theater with a Bachelor’s Degree in Photojournalism. My skills learned in the Navy and at Temple have given me a broad expertise in photography, videography, writing and editing.

Supported Marine Engineering Group ONE (1 MEG) as the principal photojournalist while deployed to Fallujah, Iraq from August, 2004 – January, 2005.
Worked with Marine Expeditionary Force ONE (1 MEF) to document the Seabees’ and Marines’ efforts to liberate the city of Fallujah from insurgent control. November – December, 2004.
